Internal API Complete

All of the internal parts of Ping-O-Matic have been switched over to use the new functions I wrote, and I’ll be eliminating more of the old code in the next day or two, which should continue to improve performance.

Sorry for some of the bumps over the weekend, some of you may have caught me while the code was being debugged and seen strange messages or behaviour. As the first “hard part” is now over, these should be a lot less than they used to be.

    It’s looking good, Matt!

I’m now getting confirmations from the pings.

    Thank you for your work!

I get the following error when I ping one of my blogs manually through the web-interface!!

Database error: [Lost connection to MySQL server during query]
    [removed SQL]

This appears at the end when pinging is done!! looks like something broke somewhere which you might wanna look into Matt!! :)

  3. Matt Says:

Thanks Amit, I’ll look into that. All of that runs after the pings have been sent, so it shouldn’t affect the actual ping side of things.

Everything is working fine. Thanks :D

Just an idea, how about adding IceRocket? It is starting to get a lot of buzz as a great blog search engine–would be nice to see it supported in future versions of the pingomatic. Thanks for the hard work you are putting into this…

  6. Matt Says:

Norm, Icerocket is already there! On the right.

  7. Norm Says:

Thanks Matt, how in the heck did I miss that! Thanks again…
