Ping-O-Matic is Running

Ping-O-Matic is running again, however the blog will now be here instead of on the pingomatic.com domain. (To make it easier to distribute the app amoung multiple servers and not have to keep so much synced.)
Sorry for the downtime, it was actually NOT related to the plans for a new architecture, the problem was the pings were overloading the network stack (really) on the old box, so we moved it to a better box and put some protections in front of it.
There will be more updates over the weekend, I’ll be blogging the news as it happens. The hardware from Technorati will finally be brought online and I have a few other optimizations in mind.

I must say I love Pingomatic, I used your services a few years ago and i just used it again today…
For for the first time in ages and I’m happy!…
My reason? Because it’s very user-friendly and simple…

Pingo matic has been working fine for me. Dont use it everyday , so might have missed the days when there were issues. It is definetly the best pinging service around
I also get a blank page and I think the pings aren’t sent out to the services.

Patience is a virtue. I am indeed grateful for the service at your site. I trust you will have little difficulty in overcoming this minor issue.
Don’t think service is still working. I hope it comes back up soon, because you have the Best Ping service I am aware of and it really helps us all.

The pings were being queued but the page was not serving correctly. Try it again, the blank page thing should be gone.
I get the same blank page as well. I have gone to some of the feed sites and they are not being pinged. So Pingomatic is not working correctly.

Blank page – goes immediately to “done” with no pings.
This is on Sept. 05 geko release of Mozilla SeaMonkey (same browser engine as FireFox.)

Same blank page for me too. I don’t think it means that the ping has been sent.
I hope Pingomatic gets working fast. I am really missing it.

Welcome back PingoMatic, we missed you. BTW, When I click submit in the main page, it takes me to a blank page. Why? Does this mean, it’s sent. Also, is it possible to Ping Bloglines??
